We offer significant experience and expertise in the representation of syndicators, developers, investors, and lenders in a wide range of tax advantaged equity investments. We have counseled clients in structuring, negotiating, and documenting transactions involving the Low Income Housing Tax Credit, the Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit, and state tax credits. Our lawyers are experienced in handling all aspects of complex tax credit syndication transactions, including advising clients on real estate, syndication, partnership taxation, corporate structure, tax credit eligibility, and compliance issues.
Our lawyers have been involved in hundreds of tax credit investment transactions over the last decade. We have also represented lenders, developers, and syndicators in various financing transactions related to tax credit real estate projects including tax credit equity bridge loans and other loan transactions. Given our experience managing a wide range of tax advantaged equity real estate transactions, we can provide guidance and support with respect to all aspects of such transactions, including structuring the transaction, securing financing, real estate and tax credit due diligence, and partnership income tax planning.
