Katie Marie is an associate in the litigation section, practicing in the Birmingham office. Her practice is devoted to the areas of energy and environmental matters, construction law, employment law, workers’ compensation law, business litigation, and other general litigation matters. She is a Tuscaloosa native and is deeply passionate about serving the people and businesses of Alabama. Recently graduating from George Washington University Law School, she brings a wealth of experience to her legal endeavors.

During her previous tenure with the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers, Katie Marie played a pivotal role in cases before the United States Supreme Court and Federal Court of Appeals. Her work involved addressing legal issues related to Fuel & Vehicle Mandates, Clean Air Act, and Climate Litigation, Transportation & Infrastructure, and Regulatory Reform at both state and federal levels. She consistently engaged with various federal agencies, including the EPA, SEC, DOE, and NHTSA.
