Mr. Dickens joined the firm in 2003 and became a shareholder in 2010. He currently serves on the firm’s management committee. His practice focuses on commercial real estate, residential real estate, and environmental law, representing clients in a wide array of commercial lending and real estate transactions, including shopping center, apartment and office building development, agricultural and recreational properties, and commercial and residential leasing. In connection with these matters, Mr. Dickens routinely prepares, reviews and negotiates various forms of legal documentation, including loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, and leases.
Mr. Dickens also has experience in title examination and title insurance, the facilitation of tax-free exchanges of real estate, and small business administration loans. Mr. Dickens obtained his undergraduate degree in finance from Auburn University and his juris doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law.
