Andy Laird is a shareholder in the litigation section of the Birmingham office, specializing in a broad spectrum of complex civil litigation matters. For over 24 years, Andy has provided effective solutions for banks, coal mining companies, construction companies, insurers and manufacturers. With extensive experience representing an array of companies, Andy manages a diverse caseload involving mining accidents, blasting incidents, surface subsidence, workers’ compensation, retaliatory discharge, co-employee liability, black lung benefits, and mineral contract disputes. His practice encompasses product liability, personal injury and automotive liability, commercial disputes and construction defects. Additionally, Andy has extensive experience handling environmental claims, toxic tort cases, and employment matters.
