Mrs. Chappell joined the firm as an associate in 2019. She practices civil litigation with an emphasis on corporate and business litigation and labor and employment law. Prior to joining Rushton Stakely, Mrs. Chappell practiced law at another Montgomery law firm and clerked for a Circuit Court Judge in South Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Clemson University in 2013. She received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from The University of Mississippi School of Law in 2016. While attending law school, Mrs. Chappell served as an Executive Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal.
Recent Practice Highlights
Won a lawsuit returning a company to the majority owner after being placed in receivership.
Worked to secure an injunction against an entity directly competing with a corporate client.
Successfully defended against numerous EEOC claims against her corporate clients.

Mrs. Chappell is a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Montgomery. She is also a member of the Junior League of Montgomery.
