Mr. Hargrove joined the firm in 1999 and became a shareholder in 2005. He is a member of the litigation department, and he currently serves on the firm’s management committee. He has a broad civil defense practice that includes complex and commercial litigation, construction law, product liability, state and federal employment claims, and professional liability. Recently, a significant percentage of his practice has focused on the representation of major pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. Mr. Hargrove has also defended employers in discrimination, retaliatory discharge, and whistleblower claims.

Mr. Hargrove has litigated cases in over 50 counties in Alabama. He has also litigated cases in the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama. Mr. Hargrove was admitted to practice in the Vioxx Multi District Litigation in the Superior Court of New Jersey.

Mr. Hargrove holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Birmingham-Southern College with a major in political science. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1999 where he was a member of the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Team, the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board, and The Order of Barristers National Honor Society.

Mr. Hargrove is a member of First United Methodist Church, where he serves on the Administrative Board, Executive Committee, Board of Trustees (Chair) and Stewardship Committee (former Chair). He has served as a Sunday school teacher and Young Life Montgomery board member. In addition, Mr. Hargrove has served as a little league baseball coach, and has organized a 5K run for a local charity.
