Mr. Hargrove joined the firm in 1999 and became a shareholder in 2005. He is a member of the litigation department, where he has a broad civil defense practice that includes complex and commercial litigation, construction defects, products liability, defense of state and federal employment claims, and insurance defense. Recently a significant percentage of his practice has focused on the representation of major pharmaceutical manufacturers. Mr. Hargrove has also defended employers in discrimination, retaliatory discharge, and whistleblower claims.

Mr. Hargrove holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Birmingham-Southern College with a major in political science. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1999 where he was a member of the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court team and the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board.

Community Involvement

Mr. Hargrove is a member of First United Methodist Church, where he serves on the Administrative Board. He is also a Sunday school teacher and Young Life Montgomery board member. In addition, Mr. Hargrove serves as a little league baseball coach, and recently organized a 5K Run for a local charity.
