About Montgomery

Rushton Stakely is located in downtown Montgomery, only a short walk from the riverfront and a number of unique restaurants, historic sites, and other attractions.

During baseball season, Montgomery’s AA baseball team, the Montgomery Biscuits, plays ball at Riverwalk Park, just across the street from Rushton Stakely. Concerts and other performing arts events of all types occur at Riverwalk Amphitheatre and the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre, both of which are within sight of our front door.

Just beyond downtown is the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, an internationally acclaimed performing arts theatre that produces 14 world class productions annually, including the works of Shakespeare, contemporary American and Southern playwrights, musicals, and holiday events.
